Diane Pryor, NCTMB, CHt., Third Degree Reiki Master
Diane Pryor became a high school English teacher in 1988 and, after teaching English for 16 years, she decided to resign and pursue a full-time career as a healthcare provider. Diane graduated with honors from the National Academy of Massage Therapy and Healing Sciences in Kulpsville, PA, in 2004, has served as the academy's instructor for: Intuitive Integration Techniques, Reiki I, II, and III, Massage Therapy: Theory and Technique, Corrective Muscle Therapy Techniques, and Sports Massage Basics, and is Nationally Certificated in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. In addition to her experience as an instructor at the academy, Diane was a member of the faculty of the prestigious Massage Therapy Program at Lehigh Valley College in Center Valley, PA. Furthermore, Diane is now a full-time employee at a busy rehabilitation/pain management center in the Poconos. Also a Nationally Certified Hypnotherapist and Third Degree Reiki Master, Diane sometimes utilizes, when feasible, all three disciplines to facilitate the healing of those who seek her help at her private practice in the town of Effort, in the Pennsylvania Pocono Mountains.
Moreover, always eager to offer the most effective healthcare to her patients and clients alike, in addition to attending myriad MT workshops, Diane has studied Myofascial Release I and Cervical and Thoracic Myofascial Release under MFR pioneer John Barnes. She will continue to attend Barnes' seminars as her schedule allows. Furthermore, Diane will soon begin her studies in Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute.
***Because I now administer medical massage & physical therapy full-time at a busy local rehabilitation/pain management center, and see several regular clients weekly at my home office, my availability to private clients has become limited. Please call for information regarding hours and scheduling in advance. I will do my best to accommodate you.
****Diane was pleasantly surprised by a recent visit from actor/director/producer Michael Sorvino (actor Paul Sorvino's son), who was in need of a therapeutic massage following a long, stressful day of directing and acting in his most recent motion picture. Michael enjoyed the massage so much, that he said he will be certain to see Diane "at least one more time" before returning to his home in California.
